Common questions

What families ask us most.

Do your live-in carers do waking nights?

A live-in carer is present overnight and responds when needed, but the arrangement assumes they can normally sleep through. Where regular waking nights are required we discuss alternative models — please call.

Can overnight care be arranged on its own?

Live-in care is by definition continuous, so the overnight presence sits inside a wider live-in arrangement. For visiting overnight care only we can advise on local providers.

Why is overnight presence so important?

Falls, confusion and incontinence often happen at night, and unsupervised episodes can lead to hospital admission. A familiar carer in the home transforms safety and family reassurance.

Will the carer disturb my loved one's sleep?

Carers are trained to be quietly present — checking in only as needed and supporting normal rest, not interrupting it.
